playing golf or tennis, going on a hike with the view of Mt. Fuji and the Japan Alps,

Our inn:
There is this small inn at the central part of Nagano, Kirigamine-Highland, 1,500 meters above the sea level.

We opened it so that the couple who finished a company work sent the second life in clear sky and rich nature of the green fields and mountains.

It is the inn of the bed and breakfast suitable for adults, and of cleanliness, quietness, with good faith. 6 guest rooms, for 14 persons. Check in from 15:00 Check out 11:00. We are considerate of nature, and at the inn where our personality enjoying a country life is kept alive, there are service of the reliable quality and a warm atmosphere.

You cannot smoke indoors, but a small Japanese bathroom (an artificial radium spring), quiet guest rooms, a comfortable lounge, bright athenaeum and the meals using matter of the season of Nagano can make yourself at home relaxedly.

It is recommended. Going out for your supper to enjoy taste of Nagano. As for the wine or the drink, please enjoy in the dining room at night!
Please fully enjoy plateau sports or a natural experience around Kirigamine-Highland.

Approach:
A white signboard and yellow building comes into view right when advancing 300 meters Echovalley ski area ahead.

The slope climbs from the parking lot to the door are covered with powdery snow in winter,and flowers in the mountain bloom all over from spring to the season.
When going the stairs up to the glass door of the entrance, turn your head for a moment, and you will see Graceful Mt. Tatesina behind.

Lounge:
The hickory single plate skis in the Showa early days are decorated in the entrance
and an oil painting "summer design" (by Masatsugu Yamaguchi) on the wall invites a visitor.

The still-life pictures and paysages of Kenzo Odachi on the wall of the lounge, a reception set, a firewood stove, sideboard create space of the relaxation.

We ask for no smoking indoors, there is smoking place in front of the entrance.

Bathroom:
All rooms are with private bath, and the right side of stairs, there is a small Japanese style bathroom (an artificial radium spring).
Please wash your body and hair before getting into the bathtub, as the same water is used for all guests and we want to keep the water clean.

Guestroom:
In the second floor of a high ceiling, six guest rooms (single,twin,triple beds room. all rooms are with private bath & toilet, TV, a refrigerator) and an athenaeum room(with coffee of the free drink).

Being surrounded to the clear air and a green soft breeze and the quietness to feel as if time reversed, spend one day of the trip in Nagano at home.

Diningroom:
There is a seat of greatest 18 in a bright dining room seeing Mt. Tateshina over the Japanese larch forest from the window. The breakfast will be wait on table in a dining room.

Parking lot:
The parking lot can accommodate six of them.

Breakfast:

Western style breakfast is cooked chiefly using the products of Nagano.

1.Juice, 2.Soup, 3.Main & sub dishes, Sarad, Fruit, 4.Coffee/Black tea/Milk

Coffee is made using the clear Kirigamine-highland spring water.
Restaurant:
Country Inn Zéphyr is a small Bed & Breakfast hotel, so we will introduce the restaurant in the vicinity.

No charge will be made if we receive notice of cancellation in writing (e-mail) more than 7 days before the reservations date.

If cancellation in writing (e-mail) is received 7 days to 1 day before the reservation date, the charge will be 4,000 yen per person per night.

If cancellation is made on the reservation date or you do not contact us, you will be charged 100% of the per person rate.

KIRIGAMINE-Highland,
50 minutes walk from Zéphyr, at a height of 1600-1800 meters, is the extensive plateau, noted for its many alpine flora, many wild birds, butterflies and panoramic mountain view of The Japan Alps, Volcano Asama, even as far as Mt. Fuji.

You may enjoy a half-day or whole-day trekking around Kirigamine.
SKIING.
As one of Japan's finest winter playgrounds, the Venus Line Ski-area offers
powder snow and commplete clear sky.
Echo-valley ski-resort is 300 meters from Zéphyr, and 10-20 minutes drive to
Blanche Takayama or Kurumayama ski-resorts.

HOT SPRINGS.
Here, as so many parts of Japan, natural hot springs "onsen" flow out.
You may enjoy "onsen" bathing at "suzuran-no-yu" , 10 minutes drive from Zéphyr.

HISTORIC STROLL around Ueda city or Suwa city.
At Ueda, many wooden three-storied pagodas of the Kamakura period (13th century)
are designated as national treasure and attract visitors all over Japan.
The ruins of Uedajo castle and the historic road "Hokkokukaido" will guide you
to the Edo period(17th-19th century). (1 hour drive from Zéphyr)

The lake-side city Suwa is well-known by the Suwa-taisha shrine
(famous "Onbasira" festival is to be held every 6 years),
"onsen" and Japanese Sake breweries(Cella Masumi etc). (1 hour drive from Zéphyr)

By train, from Shinjuku station, Tokyo it will take 2 hours to Chino station by Super-express "Azusa", and 40 minutes by a rent-a-car from Chino JR station to Zéphyr.

By train, from Nagoya station, it will take 2 hours and a half to Chino station by Super-express "Shinano" and Super-express "Azusa" transfering at Shiojiri station.(The following courses are the same as the above)
